That's awesome! I built a MAME cab 20 years ago (yeah, I know 🤣) and it was a lot of fun. Most of the games that TeknoParrot supports weren't even around back then. A 2024 build will be amazing!

Thanks! Definitely looking into 11.00 for PS4. Short answer: it's - buggy. Long answer: I've read hundreds of comments from other channels that have posted videos on this exact subject. Many that have tried the process have reported no success at all with it. Others reported getting partially through the process and trying dozens of times to get the rest to work but got stuck. I'm waiting until this process matures to the point of reliability for everyone that tries it before putting out a guide. The most important thing to me when I make a video is the certainty that the desired outcome will be reached at the end when someone follows the video guide. My name, my reputation, and everyone's sanity, are all at stake with each video published.

Not sure. I haven't tried it that way. I only have a limited working knowledge of Linux running on a VM. My best "guess" is that you can, so long as you can get your Bluetooth adapter recognized by the Linux bistro running in the VM.

Yes, but it's limited to just changing the colors of the existing layout. Some look cool, others kinda just turn legibility into a steaming hot mess. But yes, colors for the theme can be customized. :)

@@blainelocklair The only major different was the finalizing. You downloaded a zip, whereas I downloaded 2 files.

Interesting. Are you making a backup copy of your original disc to play it? Or is it a downloaded backup? Downloads can sometimes be of lesser quality than backing up your own physical disc.

Absolutely. It's just a "nicety" to be able to charge while it's connected anyway. Not needed at all. Go for it!

Not really. It's meant for the 2DS / 3DS family of systems. I don't think there's an actual jailbreak (or even one needed) for the DS Lite. Just grab one of those multi-game flash cards and you're golden.

Absolutely, as the PC is the bridge between the 2DS / 3DS and any TV with HDMI support. Just run the HDMI out of your PC to your TV or PC Monitor and you're golden.

Glad it worked for you! I know how low level this is, but what kind of power brick are you using when plugged into the wall? I can't remember for sure, but I think a 5V 1A brick might be needed, and not all bricks are created equal. Check the voltage and amperage on the brick you're using to make sure it supports the mini's requirements.

I believe so, as long as you can get to "Xinput" as a control option. Would likely work for GameCube games fine and at least the Wii games that don't need motion controls.
